As good as his word, Del Franklin played "Bitter Truth" on his show on Sunday the 28th of July 2002. We would like to think that he chose this particular track for airplay because of:

• The powerful driving rhythm guitar
• The angst ridden solo
• The bitter/sweet interplay of lead guitar and the hauting, poignant lyrics

In fact it was because it was the shortest track on the demo! Hey: fair comment, he's only got one hour a week.

His initial thoughts on the demo - as recounted on the show - were:

"Thats ruddy crackin' that is! I'm really really into that!"

Hey: Del is clearly a man that knows what he's talking about.
